Cloud Sharing & Importing Data

Cloud Sharing makes the sharing of your configuration data, your personally created walkthrough settings and look for tools simple and easy. To begin, both you and the intended recipient of your data will need to ensure you are using the most recent version of iWalkObservation. To do this, tap on "check update" from the config page. iPad and iPhone users will want to be using FileMaker Go 16 or better.

From the main menu: Tap to reveal the cloud services menu icons. Locate and tap on "Share Data".
From the config menu: Tap on "Share Data".

Tap to select the data you would like to share. A red check mark will appear on any data type you will be sharing. Tap "Share" when done.

At the prompt, enter a one-word name for this shared data. This can be anything you would like but may not contain spaces or symbols.

To easily share this with other iWalkObservation users, tap the "Copy" button to copy the text to your clipboard. Go to an email and past this into the body of your email to an iWalkObservation colleague.

Importing Data with iWalkObservation Cloud Sync Services

From the main menu: Tap to reveal the cloud services menu icons. Locate and tap on "Share Data".
From the config menu: Tap on "Share Data".

Using the informaiton sent to you by an iWalkObservation colleague, enter in the required information: Last name, one-word file name, and 4 character pin. Click ok to important data.

Available shared data will be checked in red. Untick any data you do not wish to import. Note that important method below each data type understanding if the data will merge or replace current data on your device.
