Printing and Sending

If you are using a MAC or Window OS based computer when using the Dale County Educator Effectiveness Module in iWalkObservation, you will need to "print" the rubric to a PDF then send the PDF to your teacher by email.

Getting Started - Windows OS 9 and under

Mac OS and Windows 10 computer have a built in PDF printer. If you are running an older versioin of Windows you will want to start by downloading and installing a free PDF printer. There are many fully free PDF printers available for Windows computers. One recommendation is CutePDF and has been linked here.

Updating the Dale County Educator Effectiveness Module

The current version of the Dale County Educator Effectiveness Module iThe current version of the Dale County Educator Effectiveness Module is v2.0. You will see this version number under the module title screen. To force update your module, from the main module menu screen tap on (2) "Add / Update ..." and then (3) "Update All".

"Printing" your Educator Effectiveness observations and rubrics.

After completing your observation, marks, and comments, select the "send" button in the upper right. Tick the rubrics you would like to send to the teacher. Tap "Send" when ready. For iPad users, an email will be created and the selected rubrics will be sent as PDF. For computer users:

Save to PDF using the print dialog

1. The print dialog box will be called. You will select the PDF printer option (Windows) or the "Save as PDF" option (Mac).
2. Ctrl-V to paste the name of the file into the filename dialog, select a location to save your observation, and save.
3. From your email, send the PDF to your teacher as an attachement.
