iWalkObservation is premium FileMaker application for school administrators, teacher leaders and instructional coaches designed for iOS (iPad/iPhone) and Mac / Windows OS (including the Surface Pro tablet). Twelve walkthrough / observation tools along with goal setting and conferencing tools are fully customizable allowing you to focus on your school's and district's priorities, crafting teacher and student look-fors based on your curriculum, initiatives, goals, and learning standards. As teacher leaders, improving instruction is at the heart of our work. Engaging teachers in dialog and collegial reflection is essential for professional growth. iWalkObservation provides teachers with immediate, effective feedback that encourages dialog, spurs reflection, and improves instruction.
iWalkObservation is designed for iOS (iPad / iPhone) and computers compatible with Mac OS X and Windows XP or greater (including Surface PRO tablets). The base toolset for each edition is similar however some features are not available on all devices (link for more).
An individual subscription to iWalkObservation allows you to install the toolset on all your devices. iWalkObservation secures your data on each device and does not sync between devices Email is used to provide feedback and observation / goal setting reports to you the observer and to the teachers being observed.

Custom Look Fors Tool: A single-level tool gives you the ability to create an unlimited number of on topic teacher and student look-for lists. Quickly switch between lists to combine and create dynamic feedback based on your school's and district's current work and curriculum.
Goal Setting and Conferencing: Easily document all your teacher's goals and conferences inside the iWalkObservation application. Goals can be quickly reviewed during walkthroughs and observations making your feedback targeted and meaningful.

Targeted Comments: Create an unlimited number of look for lists with 20 look for elements per topic. While observing, click on any look for and a comment box appears allowing for direct feedback on a specific look for element. This tool comes to you empty, ready for you to input your observational look fors, teacher moves, and instructional standards. (Not on the iPhone edition.)
Expanded Rubric Tool: A 6 topic, 6 sub-topic, 10 element rubric that provides you with a 360 element based rubric observation tool. Full Tool Customization: Behind the iWalkObservation toolset is a highly customizable configuration menu. Here you are able to customize each iWalkObservation form, language, and look fors ensuring that iWalkObservation will meet the needs of your staff.
PDF sent form 4x20 and 60 Comments: Include an optional PDF of the expanded 4x20 and 60 Comments tool with the walkthrough sent to the teacher (iPad only)
Photos taken and included in walkthrough: Take up to four photos during your walkthrough and include them with you notes sent to the teacher (iPad only).
DataSend / DataShare: This module allows you to share staff lists, walkthroughs and your custom settings with other iWalkObservation users.
