Understanding Account Types

There are four account types in iWalkObservation. Individual users can view their account type on the user’s profile page. Account admin can see all users’ account types on the users page and adjust as needed.

See the table below to better understand account types and their corresponding permission set.

The Account Admin is assigned to the user who first sets up the account and is the account type for individual user account. This user type has full accessto all setting, manages other users, and will have acces to the accounts subscription and billing. The District Leader account type is typically assigned to a district administrator who supervises school leaders or supervises/implements curriculum implementation. The School Leader account is the administrator or walkthrough observer at the school level. School Leader account users may be assigned to multiple schools or just one and have access to the educators and observations at the schools they are assigned to. The School Observer is a restricted account type and generally used for non-evaluative observers. This could include teacher coaches and mentors. The School Observer can create observations and view only the observations they create. Other users account will be able to view the School Observers observations.
