New Sharing Library and Grade/Content Filters

iWalkObservation will be releasing powerful new features Monday, May 22. Here’s everything you need to know!

All new shared Custom Look Fors and custom Rubrics LIBRARIES improve organization and ease of use for single school teams and large districts!

  • Custom Look Fors and Rubrics shared with you are now organized in a LIBRARY panel.

  • Account Admin users have read/write access to all shared tools, providing an all-new level of team management and organization to your iWalkObservation workflow.

  • Shared tools can be easily filtered by grade level and/or content focus, allowing schools and districts to expand their shared tools while improving individual users’ efficiency.

  • ‘STAR’ any shared list or rubric, and you will have access to it during your observation.

  • The user-to-user sharing feature has been removed, focusing our sharing on schools and district teams. Any list or rubric currently shared user-to-user will share with school teams with the update. Users who have shared tools with a single user should verify share settings once the update is released.

Grade Level and Content Taught are now a part of every observation!

With this update, ‘Grade Observed’ and ‘Content Observed’ fields have been added to every observation tool and interface. These fields draw upon the educator’s profile and will allow you to be more specific with your observation notes and feedback. Account Admin users will now see ‘Grade’ and ‘Content’ lists in their ‘Account: Settings,’ giving team-level control and organization to educator profiles, observations, and shared lists and rubrics.

User feedback and feature requests drive iWalkObservation’s development. Click on ‘feature request & feedback’ at the bottom of any iWalkObservation page and share with us what you’d like to see next!
