Welcome to iWalkObservation. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the iWalkObservation platform (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a school, district, or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.

1. Overview of the Service

iWalkObservation provides a secure, cloud-based application that supports instructional observations, educator feedback, and professional growth workflows for schools and districts.

2. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful educational and administrative purposes.

You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or systems
  • Interfere with system performance or security
  • Upload malicious software or harmful content
  • Share login credentials with unauthorized users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Accounts

  • Accounts are created for authorized staff and educator users only
  • Student accounts are not created or managed within the platform
  • Accounts may be created manually or through secure CSV import
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials

4. Data Ownership

All data entered into the Service remains the property of the customer (school, district, or organization).

iWalkObservation:

  • Does not sell customer data
  • Does not use data for advertising
  • Uses data solely to provide and improve the Service

Customers may request export or deletion of their data at any time.

5. Security

The Service is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and uses industry-standard safeguards, including:

  • Encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Encrypted storage
  • Role-based access controls
  • Restricted administrative access
  • Logging and monitoring
  • Regular backups

We maintain an incident response process to address potential security events or data breaches.

6. Availability

We strive to provide reliable service availability. However, maintenance, updates, or unexpected outages may occasionally occur. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

7. Termination

Customers may discontinue use of the Service at any time. Upon request, customer data will be exported or deleted within a reasonable timeframe.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, iWalkObservation shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
